IDTECH Biolab envisions the highest quality and best performance in food quality control and assurance procedures in the Philippines.
Established in November 2022, IDTECH is committed to ensuring consumers' safety through the prevention of false labeling and meat adulteration in processed meat products.
In support of Philippine food regulatory agencies and local meat processors, IDTECH offers affordable meat detection PCR test kits and reliable PCR testing services which guarantee authenticity, and uphold food standards and consumer expectations.

The Meat Detection PCR test was developed by Joy with her research team in UPLB through the research grant of DOST-PCAARRD between 2015 and 2017. The team included Kat, Eds, Elsie, Sir Ged, and Sir Toni.
Now together with her friends, Joy, Kat, and Eunice established IDTECH Biolab,a UPLB spin-off company, to make the Meat Detection PCR Test accessible to local clients and laboratories.
